The Moveable Feast

The Moveable Feast is a food festival held on Anglesey every August. With some fabulous live music, you can wander around the stalls which feature some great new veggie and vegan options, local produce, local breweries, local distilleries and local craft stalls. This is an event for all the family, including your 4 legged friends who are very welcome as long as they are kept on a lead. Adults £3, children under 12 go free.

Caernarfon Castle

Caernarfon Castle is recognised around the world as one of the greatest buildings of the Middle Ages. This 700 year old fortress sits on the banks of the River Seiont that separates Anglesey from mainland Wales. The castle was part of Edward I’s other fortification projects at Conwy, Beaumaris and Harlech and is a World Heritage Site. Caernarfon Castle is well worth a visit no matter which holiday park you are staying on. It is open to the public every days except for 25,25,26 December and 1 January.

Beaumaris Castle on the Island of Anglesey is the great unfinished masterpiece and has World Heritage status. It was built as one of the 'iron ring' of North Wales castles by the English monarch Edward I, to stamp his authority on the Welsh. This was part of his fortification plan includes other magnificent castles of such as Caernafon and Conwy Castle.
