For Wildlife, Nature, and Science enthusiasts there is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) nearby. Romney Nature Reserve has a purpose-built area that shelters and preserves the low lying marshland known as Romney Marsh, home to wild meadows and rare plants.
