Our view on Ashbourne
Ashbounre is a great base to explore the incredible Peak District and a great place to stay in its own right. The local shops, cafes, pubs and restuarants offer a great selction of local produce and the area has a clear sense of its identity and of being soemwhere just a little bit special! It is the Peak District so it's a "must visit" for lovers of the great outdoors, but that's not to say every walk or bike ride has to be a struggle. With routes of various lengths and difficulty there realy is something for everyone, and the views are always worth it! Ashbourne is also close to Alton Towers for a great family day out, but it is nice to escape from the adrenalin (and sugar!) fuelled theme parks and return to the peaceful countryide at Ashbourne to recharge the batteries. Staying on a holiday park in Ashbounre is ideal for friends, families and groups. It provides the space, freedom and flexibility to do what you want, when you want and let's you enjoy Ashbourne and the Peak District at your own pace.
